What is a mesh clamp?
The part that pulls a double-wire mesh panel against the fence post – depending on the version a fixing plate, a fastening clamp or an edge fixing, in some cases via a support bracket. Mesh clamp, fence clamp and panel clamp all describe the same job.
Which versions are available?
The FC001 fixing plate (29 × 29 mm) as the flat standard plate, the FC002 fastening clamp that wraps around the wire, the FC006 and FC007 edge fixings for the end of the fence, and the FC008 and FC009 mesh fixings for intermediate positions.
Which hole pattern is the right one?
The hole follows the carriage bolt being used: 5, 7, 9 and 11 mm are available, plus a 9 × 11 mm slot for tolerance compensation, an 8.5 mm square hole against turning, and a 5 mm countersunk hole where no head may protrude.
Do mesh clamps fit round posts?
No, the holders are designed for square posts. ARNELL does not supply a fastening for round posts; it is worth asking before ordering.
