ARNELL hook fasteners offer the optimal hold for securing gratings to vertical supports, such as U-profiles, IPE/HEA beams, square tubes, angle or flat steel.
With a welded long nut or thread, the hook screws can be optimally adapted to the intended use. There are standard dimensions that are described with the hook length (total length inside) and the width (inside), as well as the material.
If the right hook screw is not available in the standard dimensions, can it be manufactured individually to suit the customer's requirements?
You are welcome to ask us about the right size.
Frequently asked questions
When is a hook bolt better than a clamp fastening?
When the bearer is not accessible for a lower clamp or is too thick. The hook bolt wraps around the bearer and secures the grating against shifting and lifting – suitable for U-profiles, IPE and HEA beams, square tubes, angle and flat steel.
How is a hook bolt specified?
By hook length (overall internal length), hook width (internal) and material. Versions with a thread and with a welded-on long nut are available.
Does a hook bolt need an upper clamp?
Yes, it is combined with an upper clamp that engages the mesh from above. Depending on the hook bolt version, a screw or a nut completes the fastening.
Are hook bolts available in custom dimensions?
Yes. Hook bolts are manufactured by ARNELL itself – if the required dimension is not among the standard sizes, it is produced to the customer's specification.
